You Are Invited to Attend the Red Dress Day Art Night, March & Rally  #MMIR #MMIW

This weekend, the XAXE TEṈEW̱ Sacred Land Society is hosting several events to encourage unity and action around the protection of Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people, thousands of whom are missing or murdered.

We encourage you to mark your calendars, invite your friends, and show up ready to support those impacted.

1️⃣ ART NIGHT:🎨 🖌️

WHEN: Saturday, May 4th 6-8pm

WHAT: Connect in unity and make signs and art for Sunday’s rally* 

WHO: All are welcome

2️⃣ MARCH AND RALLY 🗣️ 🚺

WHEN: Sunday, May 5th 12:00 - 4:00 pm

WHAT: The unity march* will take place from 12:00-1:00 pm and the rally from 1:00-4:00 pm, and will include several speakers.

All are welcome to join us as we acknowledge the impact of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women/Relatives #MMIR and work to create safe spaces for Indigenous people affected by the genocide through the Rematriate Stewardship Project.
